SOCIAL SERVICES

The Social Service Department at Minnie Hamilton Health System provides a variety of services to those in need, by working closely with patients and their families to ensure quality care is provided.

The department is staffed by licensed social workers. Some of the services provided are; discharge planning, referrals to service agencies, crisis intervention, and emotional support.

The department also provides assistance with sliding fee programs, exoneration programs, medication assistance programs, as well as WV CHIP, and MDTV consults.
