Their patients may include work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, stroke victims, and individuals with disabilities. Conditions likely to require treatment by a physical therapist include arthritis, amputees, balance and walking problems, osteoporosis, headaches, or knee, shoulder, TMJ, as well as neck and back pains.
