Dr. Hande moves to North Carolina

Minnie Hamilton Health System announces that Dr. Vishwanath Hande is moving on after providing fourteen years of dedicated service to our community not only as a physician, but as our Chief of Medical Staff.

 “My departure brings me great regret because of the excellent people and staff I have worked with over the years. It was a very hard decision for me but I felt I needed to relocate for family reasons, he said. Dr. Hande and his family will live in North Carolina. “I hope that the patients and staff in my new location reflect the qualities of the people of Grantsville, West Virginia.

“Dr. Hande was a godsend to our community as we transitioned Calhoun General Hospital and Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center into Minnie Hamilton Health System. We have appreciated the quality and dedication to care that he has exhibited. Dr. Hande will be missed” reflected Barbara Lay, CEO. “We wish him all the best in all his future endeavors and would love to see him return to the mountains of West Virginia.”
